Dana White: Not Putting Title On Ngannou Nothing Personal, But "Contract Disputes... And That's Personal"

UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou beat Ciryl Gane this past Saturday at UFC 270. UFC President Dana White customarily puts the UFC title on the winners shoulder, but that did not happen at UFC 270, causing some to speculate if there was any disrespect from White towards Ngannou.

White insists there was “no disrespect”, although the two sides are involved in bitter contract disputes. White was also quoted saying, “It’s not personal. I just don’t want to pay him what he’s worth. I mean, that'll take money out my pocket and my investors pocket. And quite frankly, that’s just not fair. It’s asinine to expect me to pay the fighters more than I pay myself… or Joe Rogan. Did you know Ngannou is getting surgery on his ACL? That’s because he didn’t inject Ivermectin like Rogan told us all to do! And that’s just irresponsible.”

When pressed on why UFC fighters don’t make more money, White stated, “That’s not how servitude works. I mean slavery. I mean capitalism… … slavery. I don’t give a f***. I’m rich, bitch!”
