Jimmy Butler Wants Out of Minnesota
/The only winning team he’s ever played on…
According to multiple outlets, 4x NBA all star Jimmy Butler wants to leave the Minnesota Timberwolves. Butler, 29, arrived in the Twin Cities via trade with the Chicago Bulls in June 2017. After joining with young talent like Karl Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins, the Wolves made it to the playoffs for the first time in over ten years.
Sources close to Butler say his reasons for leaving aren’t because of Towns, Wiggins, or even his old Bulls coach and current Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau (what a ridiculous name). According to a source, Butler told them: “They re-signed Derrick Rose? Come on man that’s why I left Chicago in the first place! If I wanted to play with a washed-up, lazy glass mannequin I would have gone to whatever team Chandler Parsons is playing on.” Butler later stated that Derrick Rose’s knees were literally made out of “bitch broth”.
Earlier today, Butler made a list of teams he wanted to be traded to: Brooklyn Nets, LA Clippers, New York Knicks, and whichever team does not have Derrick Rose and Chandler Parsons on the roster.
