Nebraska Huskers Head Coach Scott Frost has had a rough season so far, but that won’t stop him from being as optimistic as one can be with a team record of 1-6. Frost, a Nebraska alum, started off the season with disappointing losses to… well everyone… until last week when the Huskers beat Minnesota in Lincoln.

On Tuesday at a press conference, Frost was asked if he thinks his team will keep winning, he replied: “Oh yeah we absolutely can. I’m like 45% sure we’ll play football on Saturday. I even intend on running plays this time. I tried my best to draw up some new ones, but it’s so damn hard to do on a Etch-a-sketch.”

When asked if Saturday’s game is a must-win, Frost stated, “No I don’t think so but we’ll definitely win. We’re playing Bethune-Cookman. I’m not even sure if that’s a real school. Sounds like a soup manufacturer or something. Hmm, now that I think of it, I could really go for some Chunky soup. Mom says it’s a great source of protein for growing boys.”

Nebraska will play Bethune-Cookman Wildcats at 11am in Lincoln.
